Me with my cool Uncle Graham Hopkins

Graham grew of to the sounds of Dixieland, trad jazz and learned drums from a very young age thanks to gis dad Des Hopkins, who is a respected jazz drummer.

At the age of 17 Graham joined Kilkenny rock band My Little Funhouse and from there is professionla career as a musician began.

In 1996, Graham joined the Therapy? and over his six year with the band, he toured the world, headlined festivals of 100,000 people and played BBC Radio sessions for the legendary John Peel.

Since then, Graham spent more than 10 years recording and touring with The Swell Season (Oscar winners from the film Once), The Frames, and Glen Hansard. And when Graham isn’t touring, he is recording with world-renowned producers for albums, radio and TV and has also worked with a mix of artists, including Dolores O’Riordan, Snow Patrol, Glen Hansard, Therapy?, Rosanne Cash, Tom Jones & many more.
