Interview with Ian MacKaye
On Logan Sounds Off I cannot believe it that I, 12 year old Logan Kelly, got the opportunity to chat to one of my music hero’s, Ian MacKaye!
So, as you may have guessed, on this episode of Logan Sounds Off, I am sharing an interview with the legend, Ian MacKaye!
For as long as I can remember……..and thanks to my dad, I have been a fan of Ian MacKayes music.
Ian MacKaye is best known as the the co-founder of the Independent Record Label, Dischord Records and also as the frontman of the hardcore punk band Minor Threat and post-hardcore band Fugazi. Ian was also a member of Teen Idles, Embrace, Egg Hunt, Pailhead and The Evens.
During my chat with Ian, he talked about the music he grew up with, how his journey into music began, Dischord Records and Ian also explained how the phrase “Straight Edge Punk” came about!
I really still cannot believe that this actually happened, that I got to talk to Ian MacKaye and I hope you enjoy my chat with Ian.
