Today I am sharing an interview with an Irish band, The Scratch. This was a first for me to interview a full band and I really enjoyed talking to; Cathal McKenna (bass/backing vocals), Conor Dockery (guitar, backing vocals), Daniel Lang (cajón, percussion, lead vocals), and Jordan O’Leary (guitar, lead vocals).
We discussed about what type of music they grew up with which including rock, traditional music, but mainly metal! And we spoke about how and what metal did to influence their current music, as well as what they are listening to currently!
Like many others, I was introduced to The Scratch’s raw and intense power (as well as gentle soft tones) by John Creedon, who has his show The John Creedon Show on RTÉ from 8PM to 10PM from Monday to Fridays. From then on I was a dedicated fan to The Scratch!
It was a dream come true to speak to The Scratch. With their soft melodic tracks to their heavy metal numbers, The Scratch are not one to miss!
