Today on Logan Sounds Off I am sharing my chat with indie rock icon and American singer-songwriter, Mark Oliver Everett or as many would know him as E from the EELS!

E is the frontman of the rock band EELS who have have been on the scene for nearly thirty years now, starting off with their debut release, Beautiful Freak. Now, 28 years on, they are approaching the 15 album milestone, with their incredible new album EELS TIME!

During the interview, E and I spoke about when he first moved from Virginia to Los Angeles to pursue a career in music, and his debut album as E, called A Man Called E, as well as his next release during his solo career, Broken Toy Shop.

Aswell as talking about his first album, we also spoke about how E has changed as a musician from his debut to now to the release of EELS TIME!, which I was fortunate to get the chance to listen to before its release on 7th June 2024 and I am very excited to hear your thoughts on the album!
