In todays episode on Logan Sounds Off, I spoke with the incredible multi genre force that is David Kitt. David and I discussed his latest release in his solo career, the reissue of his Choice Music nominated 2006 album “Not Fade Away”, which has now been remastered, with some added and removed tracks as well.

David Kitt is an Irish musician. He has released eight studio albums to date: Small Moments, The Big Romance, Square 1, The Black and Red Notebook, Not Fade Away, The Nightsaver, Yous, and 20. — David Kitt

We also discussed his latest studio album “Oops…POP!”, which has been his first full length LP as New Jackson since 2017’s From Night to Night. With both electronic and rock music in one year, David has been quite busy…

As well as this we talked some of his upcoming gigs, including Whelan’s in Dublin, Rollercoaster Records in Kilkenny, and his upcoming gig as New Jackson in the Button Factory.

Something that we also discussed in our conversation was his recommendations of books, films, artists, albums and bands, as well as his tips for upcoming musicians.

From live sets while he was studying for his post graduate course in Trinity, to his latest sucess of Not Fade Away as well as his upcoming gigs, David and I had a very interesting conversation about all of this, and more in between.
