Kraftwerk – Autobahn – Logan Sounds Off

This album… is amazing. Not just musically, but as a piece of art, it is quite cool that this is a thing. The five tracks on this album (one of them a whopping 22 minutes…) are stuck together with beautiful electronic glue, that binds this piece of art together.

Kraftwerk are well known as being one of the coolest classic electronic groups out there, with many of their albums being common knowledge as some of the best recorded electronic pieces in the last six decades, including albums like Trans-Europe Express, The Man Machine, Radioactivity, Tour de France as well as many, many more.

So, why Autobahn? Because it’s quirky and incredible productions, instrumentals and lyrics are offbeat, strange and at least fourteen cars ahead of the mainstream music car on the Autobahn.

With simple and fun lyrics dotted throughout the twenty-two minute beast title track Autobahn, to eerie sound on Mitternacht, or Midnight, to lovely and beautiful sounds of the closing track Morgenspaziergang, or Morning Walk.
