Today I reviewed the classic jazz album April In Paris by Count Basie and his Orchestra. With a relaxed sound and playful melodies that make you smile, the beauty and dynamicity of April In Paris is undeniable.

On this album you are greeted with some amazing and subtle drums that are constantly providing a beautiful texture to the album throughout the album, trumpets and trombones to make you smile, powerful saxophones that combine them all together, to match Basie‘s incredible piano skills.
Overall, April In Paris while being an exciting listen, it is also a relaxing masterpiece that shows the brilliance of Count Basie and his Orchestra subtly, while giving us a beautiful album. Thank you so much to Alan Hush for sending me this incredible album, and for introducing me to a hidden gem, that I am proud to have in my collection.
