Rum, Sodomy & the Lash is one of my favourite albums. It is dynamic in it’s multitudes of stories and morals, and Rum Sodomy & The Lash has some of the best musicians to ever step into the recording studio.
Produced by the iconic Elvis Costello, this album takes a new form in this modern age, as at the moment, trad music is becoming particularly popular in this day and age.
I always love listening to this album, and recenly I got to see The Pogues live in December playing with many guests, some of which I interviewed (which are linked below!) and the concert was amazing. I even got to see a couple of songs of this album live!
