Reviewing the Alternative Tentacles repress of Nomeansno’s Wrong on Logan Sounds Off!

Today I am excited to be sharing my review of the album Wrong. It has recently gotten a repress over at AT, so I was very happy to be bought (by my Dad) Wrong, on standard black vinyl in Spindizzy Records. I also came home to an email telling me Sex Mad was getting a repress, so I was very happy about that too!

The cool vinyl package comes with a digital download code and a lyric sheet. I loved being able to look at this incredible album in the flesh, and get my teeth into the absolute grime of some of it!

The album sounds amazing and is iconic, but it was even better on vinyl, especially for someone who is such a massive fan of Nomeansno and AT.

Well done to AT for getting this repress out!

My first introduction to Nomeansno was some of the tracks of The People’s Choice comp, and then I didn’t listen to them for a couple of years. I rediscovered them while on holidays in Fermanagh by that same comp, and I discovered the approaching repress (at the time) on the AT website for Wrong.

From there it has been a bit of a journey, but I now have in my possession this incredible album, and hopefully I will be able to pick up Sex Mad too. I haven’t heard much of that album (as it isn’t officially on streaming) yet, but soon it shall!

I love the song Revenge of the album, and that B-side sold out pretty quick, so unfortunately I won’t have that on wax till Sex Mad comes to the EU (as AT doesn’t have a Europe retailer).
