sunn o))) – A band that pioneered the sound of drone metal!
When I discovered I would get to chat to Stephen, I was very excited. His solo work is really interesting (especially his new album) and his work with sunn o))).
Stephen and I had a great chat. We talked about his new album Spheres Collapser and what that entailed as an organ piece. We also discussed his new album with sunn o))), which is self-titled, and released on Sub Pop records.
It was amazing to be able to chat to Stephen about the music that he loves, and his career.
